One of Alex’s most legendary stories happened when he was rushing to catch a flight for a major festival performance in Italy. Everything was planned perfectly—except for one tiny detail: he miscalculated the time zone difference. Realizing his mistake only a few hours before takeoff, he had to race through the city, dodge traffic, beg airport staff for a shortcut, and sprint to the gate—only to find it was already closing. But true musicians never give up. With saxophone in one hand and pure adrenaline in his veins, Alex somehow convinced the crew to let him board. When he finally took his seat, out of breath, a fellow passenger asked, “Are you always this dramatic?” To which Alex replied, “Only when the music calls.”
And then there was the time in Poland, when he had to catch a train to perform at an exclusive private event. Everything seemed fine until he arrived at the station just as the train started moving. With no time to think, he grabbed his saxophone case, ran like a madman, and literally jumped onto the last car as it picked up speed. The station staff looked on in shock, but for Alex, it was just another day in the life of a musician who refuses to miss a beat.
But perhaps the most unforgettable performance happened high in the mountains, surrounded by snow. It was a breathtaking location, with the sun shining brightly, making the peaks glow like diamonds.
